If you have prayed with your whole heart and accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, you now have a relationship with Him. You are God's child. As is noted in the Assurance of Salvation page of this site, that can never change. Once a person is saved, they are always saved.
John 6:37
"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."
Just like our earthly relationships are strengthened by spending time with our loved ones, spending time with God strengthens our love for Him and our fellowship with Him. God instructs us in His Word how to live, worship and fellowship with Him now and throughout eternity. Below are some instructions to help you get started the right way in your new walk with Christ.
1. Find and regularly attend a Bible believing, Bible preaching church.
2. Get Baptized, professing your faith.
3. Pray every day.
4. Read your Bible daily.
5. Tell others about what Jesus did for you.
6. Seek His will for your life everyday.
