Lisa Tennant received her MFA in watercolor painting and BFA in graphic design and painting from Eastern Michigan University. She has received a number of awards for her paintings and graphic design including Best of Show in the Scarab Club 60th Annual Watercolor Exhibition in Detroit, the Michigan Water Color Society Founders Memorial Award in the MWCS 59th Annual Exhibition, a number of American Graphic Design Awards for publication design, and numerous APEX Annual Award for Publication Excellence. Her illustrations have been published in a number of venues including her own children’s picture book Min Min and the Magic Garden.
